10Key POS is built, hosted and supported by Code Craft IT Studio. Small enough to know you, sturdy enough to keep your business running every day.
Why 10Key exists
Most POS systems sold in the Netherlands come from abroad. They are translated rather than built for here, and you notice the moment you need something specifically Dutch: an invoice with sequential numbering, a scale barcode from a brand that is common here, or simply someone on the line who speaks your language.
On the other side sit the large Dutch vendors, with annual contracts, a sales department and a price that climbs per till and per user. Fine for a chain, heavy for a corner shop or a place with twelve tables.
10Key sits in between. It is one system that handles both a restaurant and a supermarket, where you pay only for the modules you switch on and can add as many staff accounts as you like. Everything in it was built because a user needed it.
How it works in practice
From the first demo to configuring your products and the support afterwards: it all runs through the same person. That is not a marketing promise, it is simply how a one-person studio works. You feel the benefit the moment something goes wrong on a busy evening — you do not have to explain what your business does and which settings you are on.
The software runs on our own servers in Europe with daily backups. A support button inside the till lets us look over your shoulder remotely, so you never have to describe your screen down the phone.
What we are honest about
10Key is a young product and we do not hide that. Some things the big packages have had for years are still in development — a scale wired directly to the till, and QR ordering with iDEAL. What is there works; what is not, we would rather hear from you before you are a customer than after.
If it turns out another system suits you better, we will say so.
