Terms and conditions

Last updated on 7 September 2026. These terms apply to all quotations and agreements of Code Craft IT Studio.

This is a translation for convenience. In the event of any difference in meaning, the Dutch text of our algemene voorwaarden prevails.

1. Who we are

Code Craft IT Studio, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 89609328, VAT ID NL003087204B14, referred to as "we". "You" means the business customer entering into an agreement with us. These terms do not apply to consumers; 10Key POS is supplied to businesses only.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to all our quotations and to every agreement concerning 10Key POS, its modules, hardware and support. Your own purchasing conditions do not apply unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

3. What the subscription includes

For the term of the agreement you may use 10Key POS at the locations listed in your agreement, with an unlimited number of users per location. Updates, backups and support are included in every package. The right of use is not transferable without our consent.

4. Term and cancellation

The subscription starts on the day your environment is available and runs per calendar month. You may cancel monthly, effective at the end of the current month. We may cancel with three months' notice. If you rent hardware, a minimum term of 12 months applies to that hardware.

5. Prices and payment

All amounts are in euros and exclude VAT. You pay monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within fourteen days. In the event of late payment we may charge statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs, and suspend access after a written reminder. Your data is retained in that case.

We may adjust prices once a year. Increases are announced at least one month in advance; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the effective date.

6. Hardware

If you buy hardware, it is yours once paid in full. New equipment carries the statutory warranty plus the manufacturer's warranty. If you rent, the hardware remains ours: we replace a unit that fails other than through misuse. At the end of the rental you return the equipment in the same condition, normal wear excepted.

7. Availability

We do our utmost to keep the system available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance is scheduled outside busy hours where possible and announced in advance. The till keeps running locally during an internet outage and syncs afterwards. Failures at your internet provider, payment terminal or third-party hardware are outside our control.

8. Support

Support is available by phone, email and the support button in the till. We respond as quickly as possible on business days. Assistance with problems not caused by our software — a faulty printer or a network issue at your end, for example — can be carried out at cost by arrangement.

9. Your data

The data you enter into 10Key remains yours. We process it solely to deliver the service, under a data processing agreement. You can export your data at any time during the term. After the agreement ends we keep it for thirty days so you can still request an export, and then delete it.

10. What you take care of

You provide a working internet connection, suitable equipment and careful handling of login details. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter into the system and for complying with the rules that apply to your business, such as VAT and receipt obligations.

11. Intellectual property

The software, its source code and all its components remain our property. You receive a right of use, not ownership. You may not copy, modify, decompile or make the software available to third parties.

12. Liability

Our liability per event is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before that event, with a maximum of € 5,000. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed savings or other consequential loss. These limits do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms, announcing changes at least one month in advance. If you do not accept a change that materially worsens your position, you may cancel before the effective date.

14. Governing law

Dutch law applies to our agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. Before it comes to that, we would rather pick up the phone: 085 369 5005.
